take a peek

My art centers around finding a sense of home and the question of what home is. Is Home a person, a place, an idea? How do we find this sense of Home? These are some of the concepts I challenge in my work.

Typography

Nest, 2022

Where do we come from? Can we emerge and leave an empty nest behind, why do we feel the urge to look inside? Does the unnatural color make us feel safe, or does it feel like a trap, luring us in to get stuck?

Made from retired tarp signs, hot glue, and staples.

Ladies

Ladies, 2020- Present Day

This body of work focuses on the idea of finding comfort in one's body. We live, we breathe, we dance, we are each unique and live our lives every single day in this body of ours. It is the most important thing to fill your body with love and find beauty within yourself.

My goal with this project is to showcase all bodies, big to small, and showcase them in a way that would make people see the beauty in their own shape and hopefully inspire comfort in one's skin.

Traditional

Traditional

Here is a collection of my traditional artworks that are not directly related to a series. Color, texture, and experimentation were the main goals with these works.

Digital Works

Flower Man, 2022

What is our happiest form that we can be? Can the joy from the inside be shown on the outside?

Made from plaster, wire mesh, and metal & wooden framework. Stuffed with paper, painted with acrylic paint.

3D Works

Wooden Box, 2022

This is a wooden box. My first expirement with wood, stain, and fire. This was the project where I fell in love with 3D creation.
